Description
Box of twenty new production black powder ammunition for .32-40 Winchester with SHORT cases. Brass formed from new .30-30 Win brass, so the cases are shorter than original 32-40 cartridges and will have a lighter load. Due to the lack of availability of a longer parent case, this is the best we can do at the moment for this caliber. We will in-stock the longer ones made with Starline 38-55 brass as soon as we have them, but we do not have any estimates from them on how long that could be.
This cartridge was developed in the 1880’s by Ballard for their target rifle, but was quickly picked up both Winchester and Marlin for their lever-actions.
We can do custom loads as well. Please contact us for a quote.
